Meet Our LRPD Social Workers
Hope Johnson

Hi, my name is Hope Johnson. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with the Little Rock Police Department, assigned to the Community Response Team. In this role, I bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community by providing support, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families experiencing mental health crises.
With 15 years of experience in social services, I bring a strong background in case management and family therapy, specializing in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and resource navigation. My professional journey has given me the privilege of working with individuals and families facing homelessness, serious mental illness, substance use, and domestic violence.
I am passionate about meeting people where they are, listening to their experiences, and collaborating to create meaningful solutions—whether that means connecting someone to mental health or substance use treatment, supporting families through grief and trauma, or linking residents with vital community resources. I believe every person deserves compassion, dignity, and hope.
Outside of work, I prioritize self-care by spending time with family and friends and staying active in community events. My ultimate goal is to ensure that every person I encounter feels supported, valued, and connected to hope.
Phillip Stephens

My name is Phillip Stephens and I’m a social worker assigned to the Community Response Team. I’ve been a social worker for around 3 years and am especially passionate about working with people in acute crises. When I’m not at work I’m usually at the movies or traveling; before I was a social worker I lived abroad and taught English. I look forward to working and serving the community at large.
Stephanie Wilson

Hi! My name is Steph and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker on LRPD’s Community Response Team. While in graduate school, I interned with the Department and have been passionate about the growing field of Police Social Work ever since. I deeply enjoy coming to work every day alongside officers and social workers to promote community well-being and provide support to individuals and families affected by social issues.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside, thrifting, and attending live music shows. I’m so grateful to do this work and committed to fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the communities we serve.
