Southwest Community Center is a vibrant hub in Southwest Little Rock, located between the Southwest Police Precinct and the Dee Brown Library. Serving as a cornerstone for the community, the center offers a wide variety of programs and activities for all ages. Amenities include basketball courts, a fitness area, a swimming pool with two diving boards and a kiddie wading pool, open ball fields for soccer and football, and outdoor spaces for recreational use. Inside, the center boasts multipurpose rooms, a banquet hall, kitchenette, game room, classroom, and an aerobics room. The outdoor playground is connected to a walking trail that winds through the complex, making it a popular spot for exercise and leisure for neighborhood residents.
