Movies at MacArthur
The "Movies at MacArthur" film series takes place the third Tuesday of each month (unless noted otherwise). Doors to the museum open at 5:45 p.m. and the movies begin at 6:30.
Admission is free and there will be complimentary popcorn and drinks available.

Miles, Morale and Memories: Bob Hope and World War II
Legendary entertainer Bob Hope and his troupe of performers traveled over 80,000 miles during WWII to entertain the troops, often performing near the frontlines of Europe and the Pacific in an effort to bring a touch of home to the war. Examine Hope's impact and why President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked some of Hollywood's top radio and movie stars to hold a microphone instead of a gun in the war. (59 Minutes)

Black Patriots: Buffalo Soldiers
As the United States recovered from the bloody aftermath of the Civil War, Congress passed the Reorganization Act in 1866, that created the first-ever all-Black peacetime regiments. These six regiments would be reduced to four – the 9th and 10th Cavalry and the 24th and 25th Infantry – and soon earn the moniker Buffalo Soldiers. From the complicated skirmishes in the Southwest against Native Americans to the heroic battles on foreign soil to the ongoing fight to be treated as first-class citizens, the Buffalo Soldiers served with pride, dignity, and belief in defending a free America.
