History

Reservoir Park occupies 58 acres of densely-wooded, gently-rolling land in the northwestern part of the city. The site of Reservoir Park, adjacent to Jackson Reservoir, was acquired in 1967 from the Little Rock Water Works. Principal development of the park occurred in 1968 with funds provided through a municipal bond issue. Access to the reservoir is prohibited.
