At 11:10 a.m. on July 26, 2024, Southwest patrol officers with the Little Rock Police Department responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian, hit-and-run collision at 6601 Stagecoach Rd. When they arrived, officers were informed by medical personnel that the victim was deceased. Based on the evidence on scene it was determined that this was a fatal hit-and-run. Shortly afterwards, patrol supervisors notified Accident Reconstruction officers who responded and processed the scene. They also took photographs and collected evidence. The identity of the victim was not known at the time of the incident; therefore, next of kin will be notified pending the outcome of the autopsy from the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

At this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. This investigation is ongoing.
