LITTLE ROCK – City of Little Rock offices will be open as scheduled Monday, and residential trash collection will resume after being impacted by the recent winter weather.

On Monday, City of Little Rock sanitation crews will collect trash that was missed late Thursday and on Friday because of hazardous road conditions. Therefore, all sanitation services will be delayed one day this week.

WM recycling services will resume normal operations Monday. According to WM, residents whose recycling collection was missed because of inclement weather may place extra material in cardboard boxes next to their recycling bin on their next regularly scheduled pickup days. In addition, WM has placed recycling dumpsters at the City's Green Station, 2000 S. Thayer St., for residents to drop off recyclables. Recyclable materials may also be dropped off at the WM recycling center, 7900 Sloane Drive, at the Port of Little Rock.

Crews from the City's Public Works Department have worked 24 hours a day starting Thursday morning to treat and plow roads during the winter weather event.
