On January 28, 2025, at 11:08 p.m., Northwest Patrol Officers responded to 2123 Labette Manor Drive in reference to a subject down. When officers arrived, they discovered 19-year-old Anthony Jakob White, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. MEMS responded and confirmed the death. The scene was secured and LRPD Homicide Detectives were notified and responded. Later, the Pulaski County Coroner transported the deceased body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and the next of kin was notified.

Homicide Detectives along with the Crime Scene Search Unit were notified and responded. A preliminary investigation began as detectives canvassed the area, looked for surveillance video, and spoke with witnesses. This investigation is ongoing and occurred in the Northwest Division.
