Little Rock Parks and Recreation is dedicated to encouraging healthy lifestyles by providing quality recreation opportunities and access to exceptional park experiences in an efficient and equitable manner.
Creating a City in a Park through innovative recreational programming and vibrant park spaces which enhance the quality of life for all residents of Little Rock.
Leland Couch was appointed the Director of Little Rock Parks and Recreation in April 2022. He has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a Registered Landscape Architect.
The 2020 Master Plan assesses the current systems and proposes recommendations to fulfill the mission and vision of Little Rock Parks & Recreation over the next decade. It serves as a guide for future improvements in the community from 2021 to 2030.
