Hello CITY ON THE MOVE!

I am excited to announce that this fall, in partnership with the City of North Little Rock Wellness Program and ARORA, we will host our FIRST Unity Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run. This event will bring together two cities for one cause: raising awareness for breast cancer and supporting breast cancer survivors. There will be 2 options to choose from when registering: one is a timed 5k race and the other is an untimed 5k race.

This inclusive event warmly welcomes all members of the community. Before the race, participants are invited to savor a complimentary brunch, engage in various activities at the kids' corner featuring a rock climbing wall and face painting, enjoy musical performances, and join in with special guest hosts live from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: THE $25 DISCOUNT CODE IS ONLY FOR CITY OF LITTLE ROCK EMPLOYEES, ANYONE FOUND TO BE SHARING THE CODE WITH FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE DISCIPLINED BY THE CODE OF CONDUCT IN THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK. THE CODE IS EMPARORA24.

IMPORTANT

Each race has its own registration link (see above).
The promo code expires October 15, 2024.
Races sell out – do not wait.
The promo code is only for current employees. Friends and/or family members are not eligible for the discount.
Do not share the code on social media. Sharing this code on a public format will void the program immediately – this includes employee social media pages.

HOW TO REGISTER

Race Roster is our registration company, and it requires all participants to have an account.

Employees will sign into (or create) their Race Roster account by scrolling down and clicking on Register.
Once they are signed in to Race Roster, the employee will choose their race (Race Roster system calls it a sub event).
After choosing a race, the rest of the registration form will pop up and require them to input their personal information.
After all information has been filled in, the last line on the page says, ‘enter promo code’. This is where the code (see above) should be entered. The promo code will only discount the race registration.
After the promo code is entered, press ‘Continue’, which will pull up the waivers. They must agree and accept the waivers.
Once waivers are accepted, press ‘Continue’.
Input credit card information.
Press ‘Submit’ to complete the registration.
When the registration is accepted, a confirmation email will be sent automatically to the email address given at the time of registration. If the employee does not receive a confirmation email, please have them email our Registrar Hobbit Singleton at hobbit_s@sbcglobal.net.
