Sustainability Action Plan for City Operations

The Sustainability Action Plan (SAP), approved by the City Board of Directors in September 2025, provides a roadmap for building a more sustainable Little Rock. The plan identifies strategies the City can implement within its own operations while also setting the stage for community-wide action. By leading with these efforts, the City aims to pave the way for other organizations and partners to join us in creating a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient future.

Little Rock's Clean Energy Pledge

In the 2022 State of the City address, Mayor Frank Scott Jr. tasked the Little Rock Sustainability Office with creating a plan to transition city operations to 100% Clean Energy by 2030,
including our goal of at least 50% of the City's fleet being electric vehicles by 2030.
